Abstract
The main aim of the work was to study clinical and biochemical impairments and to assess complex treatment results of patients with trifacial neuralgia (TN). 23 patients were included in the study. They were divided into the main group - the group of differentiated high-frequency rhizotomy + basic therapy + intravenous laser irradiation of blood (ILIB) + ОАВА-ergic drug Phenibut. The control group was differentiated high-frequency rhizotomy + basic therapy. Besides, 22 almost healthy volunteers were included in the study. Clinical status, indicators of carbohydrate metabolism, lipid peroxidation, antioxidant blood enzymes activity, contents of substance P and noradrenalin in plasma were studied at the beginning of hospitalization and at the end of the treatment course. A significant regress of the pain syndrome was achieved in the both groups. The reactions of lipid peroxidation were normalized while indicators of carbohydrate metabolism were impaired in hypoxic character. An additional prescription of ILIB and Phenibut to patients with TN assisted in the blood contents normalization of the substance P.

Abstract
The levels of vitamin D have been studied in 113 healthy children (55 boys and 58 girls) from one of the Minsk districts who were divided into 3 age groups: 5-9, 10-13, and 14-17 years. The average level of vitamin D was 32.6 ± 9.2 ng/ml; without distinction of sex. The vitamin D deficiency was found in 7.1 %, and insufficiency in 31.6 % of children. 70.6 % of girls aged 14-17 years had the deficiency and insufficiency of vitamin D. Identified age-related dynamics of changes in the levels of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, alkaline phosphatase, parathyroid hormone and markers of bone metabolism: osteocalcin and β-cross-lapse in the blood and excretion of calcium and phosphorus in the urine. The decrease in the mineral bone density of the lumbar spine L1-L4 and the total body was diagnosed in 1 child (0.9 %).

Abstract
The patients with high-malignant neuroepitelial tumors contaminated with HSV in 92-93 % have clinical symptomes such as eruption, high leucocytes, and a speed of concretion leucocytes. Contamination of high- malignant neuroepithelial tumors by herpes simplex virus (HSV) has expression bcl-2 of endothelial cells three times as large as the control group. Contamination of high-malignant neuroepitelial tumors by herpes simplex virus indefinitely influences the apoptosis in endothelial and tumor cells. Having carried out the research, we could assume that the growth of blood vessels of the tumor and the growth of the tumor itself took place in two consequent stages. Initially, the blood vessels occurred (mainly). Then, the growth of the tumor itself was observed. Neuroepithelial tumors recurred on the background of exacerbation of chronicle inflammation in the interval: glyoblastomas - 3 to 6 months, anaplastical astrocytomas and olygodendroglyomas and ependimomas - 6 to 9 months.

Abstract
The electrophysiological evaluation of the features of the functional state of the respiratory system in 90 patients with scoliosis of the spine IV severity before and after surgical treatment is performed. The analysis data of the spirography, pulseoximetry, and transcranial magnetic stimulation results allowed us to objectify the pathophysiological mechanisms of the respiratory insufficiency developing under the conditions of severe scoliosis deformity of the spine and chest.

Abstract
The in vitro content of chemical elements (calcium, phosphorus) in samples of dentin tooth extraction after exposure to casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP), casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate fluoride (CPP-ACPF) is defined. Results of the study indicate a high bioavailability and the activity of drugs based on CPP-ACP, CPP-ACPF combined with low-intensity laser radiation on the dentin of the teeth. The most significant degree of adsorption and recrystallization of calcium phosphorus on the dentin surface after 14 days of experiment is provided by a combined use of CPP-ACPF and low-intensity laser radiation.

Abstract
In experiment on 32 outbred male rats, by the histochemical and biochemical methods it is established that the combination of taurine (20 g/mole - 2.50 g) with zinc diaspartate (1 g/mole - 0.35 g), which is entered into the stomach at a dose of 250 and 500 mg/kg/day everyday, has a nephroprotective dose-dependent action in rats with sublimate nephropathy (intraperitoneally; 0.1 mg/100 g/day, everyday - 14 dose). As evidenced by the activation of key inhibited SDG and AP in kidneys and the improvement of biochemical markers of nephrotoxicity in plasma (decrease in the content of creatinine, increase in its clearance) and urine (increase in the exretion of urea, creatinine, uric acid, polyuria reduction).

Abstract
Known therapeutic diets for patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) have no valid studies. They have been established empirically. The lack of appetite and the fear of eating in patients with CP during acute illness increase the risk of trophic failure (TF). Insufficient attention is paid to the diagnosis and correction of TF in patients with CP in a traditional treatment, and this greatly worsens the course of the disease. So far, a doctor does not know the definition of the "nutritional status". So far, there is no holistic view of the nutritional status of patients with CP, it is not studied in the dynamics of hospital treatment; there is no method of its assessment.

Abstract
The mutagenic and carcinogenic properties of the group-specific in AB0 system polysaccharides being substances of new immunomodulatory drugs Fruglyumin A and Fruglyumin B are studied. It is found that the group-specific polysaccharides in a dose exceeding a daily therapeutic one by a factor of 15, as compared to the control, do not cause an increase in the number of human lymphocytes with micronuclei and do not increase the number of chromosomal aberrations in the bone marrow cells and does not affect the incidence of lung adenomas in mice line AF, which clearly indicates the absence of possible mutagenic and carcinogenic effects from these drugs.

Abstract
In the investigation of the coronary arteries of the dead from the coronary heart disease, it is found that in atherosclerosis there occur both pathological activation and inhibition of the apoptosis of major cells of the coronary artery with atherosclerotic lesions. The apoptosis of smooth muscle cells and macrophages of coronary artery atherosclerotic lesions is realized by the caspase-dependent mechanism. The apoptosis of endothelial cells can occur with the participation of caspases and by the caspase-independent mechanism. The presence of moderate cytoplasmic expression of cytochrome c in all stages atherogenesis stages confirms the mitochondrial activation of the caspase cascade.

Abstract
A morphology and function examination of the liver of patients at different stages of alcoholic lesions was carried out. A reduction in the average area of hepatocytes and their nuclei at the stage of hepatitis and an increased nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio in patients with cirrhosis were established. A toxic liver disease leads to the accumulation in this organ of pigment lipofuscin and the reduction of the enzyme activity of succinate dehydrogenase and cytochrome oxidase. The biochemical study of blood serum of patients showed an increase in the activity of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, gamma glutamyl transpeptidase, total bilirubin and a decrease in the level of total cholesterol.

Abstract
day of pregnancy delays the development of membranes of the colon, the formation of crypts in mucosa as well as the formation of their cellular composition in offspring. These disorders are accompanied by increased LDH and decreased SDH, NADH-DH and APh in epithelial cells, which leads to an inhibited synthesis of glycoproteins and sialomucins in goblet cells. The introduction of UDCA 50 mg/kg into these pregnant females has a marked protective effect on these changes, which depends not only on the age, but also on the type of nutrition.

Abstract
In offspring of rats with cholestasis induced on the 17th gestation-day, the disturbances of morphogenesis of the cerebellar cortex were found. In the early postnatal period development this results in inhibiting a growth of the cortex, disturbances of the dynamics development of the external granular layer and the density of Purkinje cells. In the later period development this results in decreasing normochromic and increasing the number of hyperchromic neurons, and the content of ribonucleoproteins in their cytoplasm; these changes were more pronounced in paleocerebellum. UDCA allows one to partially correct those disturbances.

Abstract
The article presents the study of the enzymatic activity of neurons in the spinal cord, villous epithelium and nerve cells of intermuscular plexus 12 duodenal ulcer. Histochemical methods found that a short-term (15 min) occlusion of the descending thoracic aorta, followed by hours of reperfusion, leads to the restructuring of energy metabolism in the studied sites. An increase in the activity of lactate dehydrogenase and a decrease in the succinate dehydrogenase activity indicate an intensification of processes of anaerobic glycolysis. The activation of the nitric oxide synthesis in spinal neurons is observed.

Abstract
Insufficient attention is paid to diagnosis and correction of the trophic status of patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) in a traditional treatment. The trophic failure in patients with CP during hospital treatment is established. The negative dynamics of nitrogen indices of blood and urine indicates an intensive use of protein structures in the body of patients, mainly in the first 3-4 days of treatment in a hospital. Nutritional support of patients with CP improves the indicators of the trophic status of patients, an increased body mass, including a muscle mass.

Abstract
It is demonstrated that after the implantation of prolene ligatures, despite the information provided by the companies producing absolute- inertia polypropylene products for medical purposes, after a long period of time (for rats it is not less than 12 months) at the site of implantation there are the signs of destruction of ligatures made from this polymer with severe sclerotic and dystrophic changes of surrounding tissues.

Abstract
Prenatal alcoholisation leads to the development of a number of specific disorders of the fetus, united in the concept of the fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS), included in the "fetal alcohol spectrum disorders" FASD. Antenatal alcoholisation slows down the maturation of neurons in the frontal cortex of the offspring of rats that consumed alcohol during pregnancy, resulting in the inhibition of maturation in their perikaryon of the expression of doublecortin (DCX) and the rise of NeuN protein expression.
