The Journal was founded in 2004 after the organization of the Department of Medical Sciences (2003) as a part of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The editorial board is represented by authoritative Belarusian and foreign scientists. It consists of 23 specialists including 8 Academicians and 5 Corresponding Members of the NAS of Belarus.
