Dependence of the pulse wave velocity in the common carotid artery on a heart rateand a pulse pressure in men with arterial hypertension
Abstract
The formula for assessment of a pulse wave velocity in the common carotid artery of patients with essential arterial hypertension of 1 degree considering a heart rate is proposed. For this formula to be used, minimum data on a patient are required: arterial pressure, pulse rate, and age.
