Influence of remineralizing casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate complexes and low-intensity laser radiation on the calcium and phosphorus content in the dentin of the teeth

Abstract

The in vitro content of chemical elements (calcium, phosphorus) in samples of dentin tooth extraction after exposure to casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP), casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate fluoride (CPP-ACPF) is defined. Results of the study indicate a high bioavailability and the activity of drugs based on CPP-ACP, CPP-ACPF combined with low-intensity laser radiation on the dentin of the teeth. The most significant degree of adsorption and recrystallization of calcium phosphorus on the dentin surface after 14 days of experiment is provided by a combined use of CPP-ACPF and low-intensity laser radiation.
