Изучена взаимосвязь между уровнем окисленных липопротеинов низкой плотности (ЛПНП), активностью системного воспаления и субклиническими проявлениями атеросклеротического поражения сосудов по данным ультразвукового исследования сонных артерий и мультиспиральной компьютерной томографии со скринингом коронарного кальция у пациентов с ревматоидным артритом (РА). Для пациентов с РА на фоне терапии метотрексатом в сравнении с показателями у лиц без РА, сопоставимых по кардиоваскулярным факторам риска, характерна большая распространенность атеросклеротического поражения артерий коронарного и каротидного бассейнов, предикторами которого являются индекс DAS 28, уровень высокочувствительного С-реактивного белка, возраст и уровень артериального давления. Перекисная модификация ЛПНП может являться одним из механизмов влияния активности артрита на развитие атеросклероза у данной категории пациентов.

The relationship between the content of oxidized low-density lipoproteins (LDL), the inflammation activity, and subclinical atherosclerosis was studied by the multispiral computed tomography with the screening of coronary calcium and by the ultrasonography of carotid arteries in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). A greater prevalence of atherosclerotic lesions of coronary and carotid arteries was observed in patients with RA treated with methotrexate compared with indicators of age, sex and cardiovascular risk factors in persons without RA predicted by index DAS 28, the level of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, age and the presence of hypertension. The RA activity can influence the atherosclerosis development through the peroxide modification of LDL.
