В отличие от так называемых «анатомических» методов лучевой диагностики, таких как компьютерная томография, ультразвуковое исследование и обычная магнитно-резонансная томография, визуализация при ДВИ и позитронной эмиссионной томографии (ПЭТ) основана на оценке уникальных патофизиологических характеристик злокачественных опухолей, а именно диффузии молекул воды и метаболизма глюкозы соответственно, что позволяет проводить диагностику на клеточном уровне. Описаны принципы получения изображений при ДВИ и ПЭТ и сравниваются возможности обоих методов при раннем прогнозировании эффективности лечения злокачественных лимфом. Несмотря на большое количество опубликованных данных, вопрос проведения ПЭТ в процессе химиотерапии лимфом остается дискутабельным. Имеются лишь единичные публикации, изучающие роль ДВИ до начала и в процессе лечения для прогнозирования эффективности химиотерапии лимфом. Данный вопрос требует дополнительного изучения на больших группах пациентов. Ввиду нерадиационности, неинвазивности и меньшей стоимости ДВИ может в будущем составить альтернативу ПЭТ.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article outlines the principles of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI) and positron emission tomography (PET) and compares the potentialities of the both diagnostic techniques for early prediction of the effectiveness of treatment of lymphomas. In contrast to other tomographic methods such as computed tomography, ultrasonography and conventional magnetic resonance imaging, DWI and PET use unique pathophysiological characteristics of malignant tumors, namely, water molecule diffusion and glucose metabolism, which allows one to diagnose on a cellular level. Increasing evidence indicates the prognostic role of early PET in lymphoma. DWI is a new very promising method for early assessment and prediction of the effectiveness of treatment of lymphomas. Because of its non-irradiative, non-invasive nature and a lower cost it may become an alternative to PET in the future.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Connors J.
